If your business is able to provide a work experience place this year, please do. This is a perfect place for someone to start their career. With unemployment at one of the lowest levels we have seen, it’s a great way to showcase your industry as a career choice to someone soon to start theirs. As an Enterprise Advisor for www.westofengland-ca.gov.uk, I can see the difference it will make to these students considering their options. I found my career from my work experience placement, I was supposed to find a legal firm but there no spaces left for me, but luckily Pertemps were happy to take me, and I have not looked back ever since.
