What a year 2025 has been ✨
It’s certainly been one to remember, but what a year it’s been! We’ve been working hard to continue delivering an excellent and valued service to both our amazing clients and candidates.
The biggest change this year has been a very special one. After more than 30 years in recruitment (most of them spent side by side with Sam), Kim made the amazing decision to retire. Since March she’s been loving every minute — travelling, relaxing and enjoying a well-earned new chapter. While we were all sad to see her go professionally, we couldn’t be happier for her personally. She’s worked incredibly hard throughout her career and truly deserves this time to unwind and explore the world.
We had a lovely afternoon celebrating her retirement with colleagues past and present — including some absolute recruitment legends.
In June, we welcomed Lucie to the team — and what an addition she’s been! Not only does she bring brilliant energy and talent to t
he business, but being Sam’s daughter, it’s safe to say recruitment definitely runs in the family.
Another exciting development this year has been the growth of our Alexander Mae HR division, led by Sarah. Sarah joined Alexander Mae in 2021, and after many years specialising in HR recruitment, she’s returning to her roots and true passion by building a dedicated HR offering for our clients. She brings a huge amount of experience, warmth and industry insight to the team, and we are thrilled to see her lead this next chapter. With Alexander Mae HR officially launching in 2026, it’s a really exciting step forward for the business.
We hit 14 years in business this year. It still feels a bit surreal, and we’re genuinely grateful for everyone who’s been part of the journey so far. Thanks for all the support, the laughs, the challenges that pushed us, and the wins we’ve shared along the way. Here’s to keeping the momentum going and seeing where the next chapter takes
Sam reached a big birthday milestone in November and really made it one to remember, enjoying a whole month of celebrations, catch-ups, and feel-good moments from start to finish
